Humans of MHM | B.J. Vogt, Exhibitions Preparator

1, December 2015

This month we're starting a new series of posts highlighting some of the incredible individuals who make up our team here at the Missouri History Museum.

We're starting with someone who plays an essential role in making sure all of the exhibitions we present look and function their best—our Exhibitions Preparator, B. J. Vogt. In this role, B. J. is responsible for installing and maintaining all of the exhibits we present here at MHM, from traveling exhibits to those we produce using our own collections and research. It's a very hands-on job requiring an artist's attention to detail. From heavy lifting and case building to designing small mounts for the tiniest and most delicate objects in our collection, B. J. does it all. Check out the video below for even more insight into B. J.'s role here at the Missouri History Museum.
